211 provides a comprehensive and accessible way for people to find information and connect with resources in their local community. Users are connected with a trained specialist who can help them navigate the network of social services and find assistance. The service is available 24/7.

FindHelp.org

Findhelp.org (formerly Aunt Bertha) is an online social care network that connects people with free and reduced-cost social services in their local communities. Unlike a direct service provider, findhelp.org functions as a comprehensive search and referral platform. It aggregates information from a vast network of local, state, and national programs, making it easier for individuals, families, and organizations to find and access services they need.

Blue Star Families

Blue Star Families is a non-profit organization founded in 2009 by military family members to support and empower military and veteran families. The organization's approach is to connect military families with their civilian neighbors to create strong comm unities of support. They use a research-driven model, conducting a comprehensive annual survey to understand the challenges military families face, such as frequent moves, deployments, and economic insecurity. They then use this data to advocate for policy changes and develop programs that directly address these needs.

Military Child Education Coalition (MCEC)

Founded in 1998, the Military Child Education Coalition is a global, nonprofit organization dedicated to the well-being and needs of children of military and veteran families. They aim to support military-connected children in their educational, social, and emotional development, ensuring they are prepared for college, the workforce, and life.

MilitaryChildCare.com

MilitaryChildCare.com (MCC) is a Department of Defense (DoD) website that serves as a centralized gateway for military and DoD- affiliated families to find, request, and manage child care options. It simplifies the process of finding and securing military-operated or military-subsidized child care by providing a single platform to search for programs, manage waitlist requests, and access a variety of resources. The system is designed to streamline the child care process, making it more efficient for military families who often have to relocate.

Military Kids Connect

Military Kids Connect is an online resource and community dedicated to helping military children and teens cope with the unique challenges of military life. The platform offers a safe and engaging environment for children to connect with their peers and build psychological health and resilience.

National Military Family Association (NMFA)

The National Military Family Association (NMFA) is a leading nonprofit organization dedicated to serving and advocating for all military families. Since its founding by a group of military spouses in 1969, NMFA has been the voice for military families on Capitol Hill and with key decision-makers at the Pentagon. The organization works to identify and solve the unique challenges of military life through advocacy, innovative programs, and responsive solutions.

Our Military Kids

Our Military Kids is a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that supports the children of deployed National Guard and Reserve service members, as well as the children of post-9/11 combat-wounded, ill, or injured Veterans. The organization provides grants for extracurricular activities to help these children cope with the stress of a parent's service.
